Today in Star Wars history, Luke Skywalker makes his Mandalorian series debut.
In Chapter 16 of The Mandalorian, appropriately dubbed, “The Rescue,” Jedi Master Luke Skywalker comes to the aid of Din Djarin and his allies.
Portrayed once more by a technologically de-aged Mark Hamill, Luke arrives at Moff Gideon’s star cruiser in his iconic x-wing, where he slices through the dreaded dark troopers with little exertion.
Skywalker then departs with future Jedi Grogu in tow, but not before a heartfelt goodbye...
The episode closes by teasing upcoming spin-off show The Book of Boba Fett, set for release in December, 2021.
