New Stormtrooper Design Revealed | Today in Star Wars History (Nov. 28)

Today in Star Wars history, a new stormtrooper design is revealed!

After much back-and-forth, on November 28th, 2013, J.J. Abrams approves the updated stormtrooper design for Star Wars: Episode VII.

The brainchild of costume designer Michael Kaplan and costume concept artist Glyn Dillon, the First Order iteration most notably brands a different helmet from its Imperial predecessor.

In canon, the armour has greater flexibility, improved joint design, stronger plating and upgraded communication systems.

Unfortunately, it does not improve stormtrooper aim...
